Ariel Kaufman, MD

He is a member and contributor of the Urological Research Network and a faculty member of Nova University, Urology Specialist Group, Lyx Health in FL. A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Central de Venezuela, who completed General Surgery training and completing his Urology training in University of Texas program in Houston. His urological practice has emphasis in urology Oncology, urology female and Reconstructive urological and diseases of the prostate.

Today the Dr. Kaufman a diplomate of the American Board of Urology works as a urologist in the city of Miami and in Caracas-Venezuela, offering prime urological care to their distinguished patients, both in the Urological unit of the Hospital of Clinics Caracas as in Urology Specialists in the city of Miami.

He is a pioneer of robotic surgery in Latin America, having carried out the first robotics, both prostate and kidney surgeries in South America. In addition, he introduced the video-urodynamics and avant-garde techniques in surgery for urinary incontinence in Venezuela.

He has been Director of the Board of Directors of the Hospital of clinics Caracas, head of the Department of Urology at the Hospital de Clinicas Caracas and the Centre Medico Docente La Trinidad.

Since the year 2006 is the Director of the Centre national of surgery Robotics of the Hospital of Clinics Caracas and during fifteen years was Director of the course of expansion of knowledge in urology female, urodynamics and surgery Robotics and Reconstructive of the floor pelvic (University Central of Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela) and Director of the diploma in surgery robotics, urology female and Reconstructive of the floor pelvic and urodynamics (University Santa Maria - Caracas, Venezuela).
