Edward Gheiler, MD

Dr. Edward Gheiler, MD, FACS is a board-certified urologist in Hialeah who has spent more than two decades focused on men's sexual health and penile implant surgery. He performs more than four hundred inflatable penile implant procedures each year, using a concealed-scar scrotal technique he developed that leaves no visible incision.

He teaches that procedure to other surgeons as a Boston Scientific physician-educator, alongside faculty from Baylor and Mayo, and serves as Fellowship Director in Prosthetic Urology. As a Clinical Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University he has published more than sixty peer-reviewed research articles.

An inflatable implant is a treatment a man can choose at any point. It is not a last resort, and there is no requirement to try and fail pills or injections first. In head-to-head published studies, implants carry the highest satisfaction rates of any erectile dysfunction treatment, for both patients and their partners.
